Greetings from the ELHS Cheval Winter Guard!

Thursday was a GREAT day for East Lincoln High School Band Organization at the WGI World Championships!  After a solid performance in Prelims, the Cheval Winter Guard scored an 87.8, placing them as the highest scoring unit and Site Champion in the six Scholastic A rounds at the University of Dayton Arena.  There were Scholastic A rounds taking place at another arena in the area as well.  Of all the Scholastic A colorguards in attendance at World Championships, Cheval finished fifth overall in Prelims!  This puts the guard in GREAT shape going into tomorrow's Semi-Finals.  Cheval will have an early morning on Friday with their wake-up call at 5:30 AM.  The  performance time for Semi-Finals is at 10:04 AM.  You can watch Cheval live with a subscription to the WGI Fan Network, or check out Cheval's results from Semi-Finals sometime in the afternoon at www.wgi.org.

Thanks so much for all the support that has been sent through text messages and phone calls from so many people!  It is always special for the performers to feel that support from home!
