CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR 2011 ALL DISTRICT BAND MEMBERS FROM EAST LINCOLN!!!

The following students auditioned for the 2011 South Central District Bandmasters Association and were awarded positions in the ensembles:

Senior High School (11-12)

Brandon Nichols - 3rd Chair - Trumpet*

Chris Smith - 2nd alternate - Timpani
Eli Allen - 2nd alternate - Tenor Saxophone

* - denotes eligibility to audition for North Carolina All-State Band

WAY TO GO EAST LINCOLN!!!  We are so proud of all your hard work in preparing for this fantastic opportunity!  Your dediation to become a better musician through your private lessons and / or personal diligent preparation made the difference!  We hope you are all very proud and excited about your successes individually and as a whole!

We'd also like to say a CONGRATS to all the other students in from our other Lincoln County Schools who represented our school system and your band programs very well!

The All District clinic will take place January 28 & 29 in Hickory, North Carolina.
