Showband of the Carolinas

Members of the Falcon Band traveled to Atlanta, GA on April 1-2, 2010. While in Atlanta, students maintained a very busy schedule. The trip began with lunch at The Varsity, and continued with tours of the World of Coca-Cola and Olympic Park, which was home to the 1996 Summer Olympic Games. That night, the band enjoyed dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe in downtown Atlanta, and finished the evening with a visit to the Atlanta Symphony. The last day of the trip included a day at Six Flags Over Georgia. This trip was a HUGE success and could not have been possible without the help of some very important teachers and chaperones. The band would like to thank Sam Ranallo, Jennifer Huskey, Amanda Swengros, Renea Ballard, Sue Ellen Meadows, Jennifer Mispley, and Gail Shelton for serving as chaperones on the trip.
